ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System
The ISO 22000 training enhances delegate’s understanding in Food Safety Management System(FSMS) principles and develop necessary expertise to perform a Food Safety Management System audit by applying widely recognized audit principles, procedures and techniques. A well-implemented and maintained Food Safety Management System helps organizations on the provision of safe food products to prevent or minimize adverse effects on human health and the proactive improvement of food safety performance. This training will give hands-on experience and the delegates will be able to master audit techniques and become competent to manage audit related program, team, communication with customers, conflict resolution and much more.
Target Audience
This qualification has been designed to develop knowledge and skills required to conduct a full audit of an organizations in Food Safety Management System targeting professionals such as executive chef’s, consultants, production managers, food safety team leaders, supervisors, hygiene officers, quality assurance officers and Engineers who want to be aware of entire FSMS auditing process.
Course Prerequisites
There are no official prerequisites for ISO 22000 Auditor training course, however Shengel ED recommends following expertise:
- Knowledge of Food Safety Management System
- Basic understanding of core elements of a management system and the interrelationship across top management responsibility, policy, objectives, planning, implementation, measurement, review and continual improvement
- Relevant national and local FSMS legislation and requirements
Course Duration
The recommended guided learning hours for this qualification is 5 Days (40 hours).
Day 1: Introduction to Food Safety Management Systems and ISO 22000
Day 2: Audit principles and the preparation for an initiation of an audit
Day 3: On-site audit activities
Day 4: Closing the audit
Day 5: Certification Exam
Learning Outcomes

Assessment Methodology
This qualification is assessed by written examination.
