Level 2 Fire Safety and Prevention
Learners gaining this qualification will know that fire safety is the responsibility of everyone in the workplace and will recognize their contribution in the prevention of fires and fire spread.
Target Audience
This qualification has been developed for anyone involved in the management of fire safety in the workplace. This could include managers, supervisors, team leaders, fire wardens (marshals) and staff working in any area where there is a potential risk of fire.
Course Duration
To complete this qualification learners should expect to undertake approximately 1-day (7 hours) training course .

Successful learners will be able to:
- Understand the hazards and risks associated with fire in the workplace
- Understand how fire risk is controlled in the workplace
- Understand the principles and practice of fire safety management at work
- Understand the role of the nominated fire warden

The qualification is assessed by multiple-choice question (MCQ) examination.
